078. the gift of the cinco de mayo

i'm about to date myself with this one. i first used it in 2015. right??? idk who let a child unsupervised on the internet but 🙂🤡 anyway, last month, i plunked it from the gutter, dusted it off, and gave it a new coat of paint with a few gradient maps. and i figured i'd offer it as an apology for my flakiness. so, sorry y'all. hopefully, my butt gets back in gear soon. click the gif! this has been used mostly on gifs, like the one above, and stock pictures of landscapes and buildings. you can certainly use it on icons too, like, buuut if you'd prefer to use one specifically for icons 👋🏻click here👋🏻 it works best on reds, yellows, and oranges, well on greens and purples, and meh on blues. it will wash out blues (especially the sky) so, if you don't want that, adjust the hue and saturation (specifically the cyan tab) until you're happy. in the pack are two versions: a lighter one with more muted reds, and a darker one with more vibrant reds. example of the original version is here (cw blood!). if you want the og, remove the optional folder. top: unedited; mid: "og"; bottom: updated comments aren't necessary but very much appreciated. neither is credit. thanks and take care!
