pretty easy peasy: open your image, do all your stuff, place the psd, add the gradient map, and bing bang boom! you got yourself an icon. ok, you may have to adjust some settings (maybe the first curve layer, definitely that gradient map) but that's it. oh if you need to color correct faces, three color swatches are included in the psd. but now that's for sure it. you got yourself an icon.
this psd works best on live action. with animation, it's hit and miss. adjust the brightness and see if it works then.
